Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you can use our website and place orders for items from www.ravvie.com («The Website»).
By ordering goods from www.ravvie.com you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms. in their entirety. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, you must not order any product or service through the Site.
1. Company information
This Website www.ravvie.com is operated and owned by The Limited Liability Company Ravvie («The Seller») incorporated in France, registered at the Chamber of Commerce of Gap with company number (SIREN number) 798648218. Head office of Sarl Ravvie is at 3 L’Oratoire, 05100 Névache, France. Vat number: FR46798648218.
2. Products and service descriptions
The Seller has taken reasonable precautions to try to ensure that all products have been fairly described.
All products are subject to availability. If the Seller does not have sufficient stock to be able to deliver the Products ordered he will inform the Buyer as soon as possible. An alternative product or full refund will be offered if money has already been paid.
The refund will be made as soon as possible.
4. Contract creation and electronic contracting
The technical steps required to create the contract between the Buyer and the Seller are as follows:
- The Buyer places the order for products on the Site by pressing the confirm order button at the end of the checkout process. The Buyer will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the Site.
- The Seller will send to the Buyer an order acknowledgement email detailing the products the Buyer has ordered.
- All products that the Buyer orders through the Site will remain the property of Sarl Ravvie until The Seller has received payment in full from the Buyer for those products.
- As the product is shipped from our warehouse the Seller will send a dispatch confirmation email to the Buyer.
All prices are inclusive of French VAT (20%) unless otherwise specified.
Prices are subject to any changes to the rate or applicability of VAT.
All prices including postage may be subject to change as a result of increase in direct costs or VAT rates.
All payments for products made through this website will be procured through a secure browser. All authority for payments must be made/given at the time of confirming the relevant order. No payment shall be deemed to have been received by us until funds are cleared.
Payment on te Website www.ravvie.fr can be made by:
- Credit or Debit Card (via STRIPE Secure Server).
- Bank transfer.
All Products supplied by the Seller come with a manufacturer's warranty of 24 months.
8. Shipping and Delivery
The shipping time is indicated for each product.
Shipping charges will depend on the value of th order and the country to which the product is being shipped.
Products are shipped by French Post or carrier (UPS, DHL, Fedex..) depending on the destination.
A despatch confirmation email with the parcel’s tracking number is sent to the Buyer after dispatch.
Orders are delivered anywhere in Europe within 2 - 7 working days after dispatch and outside of Europe within 3 - 15 working days after dispatch. The dispatch terms can vary and and are stated on website for each product.
The recipient is invited to check the visible condition of the products before accepting delivery. If the recipient notes any apparent defect in the parcel (as damages, products missing compared to the delivery order, damaged or broken parcel or product…) in the presence of the carrier, he must refuse delivery and immediately contact The Seller. A signature, without reservation, of the delivery docket by the customer is deemed to signify acceptance of the parcel.
The products are delivered to the address indicated by the customer when the order is placed.
8.2.1. Delivery charges
The shipping in Europe is free of charges.
The shipping cost for orders outside of Europe are 35€ per order.
Generally, where an order contains more than one item all items will be shipped at the same time once all items are available.
9. Returns and Cancellation
If for any reason The Buyer is unhappy with the goods he has ordered, he can return them to The Seller for an exchange or refund at any time during the period of 14 days beginning with the day on which he receives the goods.
The Buyer must inform The Seller of his wish to cancel in writing either by letter or email within a period of 14 days beginning on the day after the day he receives his goods.
The Buyer is responsible for the cost of returning any goods to The Seller for exchange or refund, except in cases of faulty, damaged or wrongly supplied goods.
The Seller recommends The Buyer obtain a certificate of postage when he returns the goods.
10. Faulty Items
Products returned by The Buyer because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery costs and the costs incurred by the Buyer of returning the item to the Seller. The Buyer should wish to order a replacement product it will be sent to the Buyer postage free.
The Seller reserves the right to issue or make available electronic invoices and The Buyer agrees to such form of invoicing.
12. Intellectual Property
Unless expressly stated otherwise, copyright and any other rights contained in the Site, including but not limited to all branding, product names, images, text, sound recordings, logos, look and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the Site is owned by Sarl Ravvie or licensed by or to Sarl Ravvie from third parties. Any unauthorized use of the Site is strictly prohibited and will constitute a breach of our intellectual property rights or those of our licensors.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
The Seller warrants to the Buyer that any Product purchased from the Site is of satisfactory quality.
The Seller’s liability in connection with any Product purchased from the Site is strictly limited to the purchase price of that Product.
Nothing in these conditions is intended to exclude or limit in any way the Seller’s liability: for death or personal injury caused by the Seller’s negligence; under section 2(3) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or for any matter for which it would be illegal for the Seller to exclude or limit, or attempt to exclude or limit, our liability. The Buyer’s statutory rights are not affected.
The Seller accepts no liability for any loss of income or revenue, loss of business, loss of profits or contracts, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, waste of management or office time or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind however arising and whether caused by through error (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.
16. Written Communications
Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications the Seller sends to the Buyer should be in writing. When using our site, the Buyer accepts that communication with the Seller will be mainly electronic. The Seller will contact the Buyer by e-mail or provide the Buyer with information by posting notices on the Site. For contractual purposes, the Buyer agrees to this electronic means of communication and acknowledges that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that the Seller provides to him electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights.
17. Governing Law
The use of The Site and any purchase on The Site of any products will be governed by English Law in accordance with your legal rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and other applicable legislation and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All contracts shall be concluded in English.
